Happy and heavy: each new day with a young baby and a (very!) mischievous toddler is a bit of both... Sometimes I just wish I could split myself in two! (or maybe even three, so there would be an extra me left for also doing some non-child-related fun stuff ;)) I don't expect these days to always be happy or easy: besides feeling so lucky there's sometimes the stress of adjusting, learning to share (Rosa) and multi-child-task (Helmut and me), but so far I think we're doing not so bad!

Hoi, zwanger en verbouwen is inderdaad niet aan te raden. Ik doe het nooit meer:) nu alles inrichten en daarna veel uitrusten want ik lees het nu ook van jou dat een baby en een 2 jarige niet niks is. Mooie baby, en leuk dat osa nu een zusje heeft om straks mee te spelen!

I haven't said it before, so I'll say it now... Felicitations on the arrival of Julia! She's delightful!

I had my second son about 5 months ago and also have a 2.5 year old boy. I have to admit these past 5 months have been some of the hardest of my life! My eldest is in the midst of the tantrum, strong-willed stage, and I've found the dynamics of looking after 2 very small people very challenging, espcially the during the first 3 months. The last 2 months have been somewhat easier, so know that you will find a kind-of rhythm before too long!

Congratulations! She is gorgeous! They both are! My kids are 7 and 10 already and I have fogotten everything about how busy you are with the small ones and am, therefore totally prepared for another baby, just need to covince the dad, who is not as forgetful :)
